× Chimera Theatre presents a new theatrical adaptation of The Robber Bridegroom by the Brothers Grimm. The Robber Bridegroom tells the tale of an impoverished miller who seeks a better life for his only daughter. To save the mill, they arrange for her marriage to a wealthy man from out of town. She wants to help her family and do what is right, but something wicked lurks in the woods where the bridegroom lives. Chimera Theatre brings new life to this classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale in this dark adaptation that explores intuition, intrigue, and the uncertain nature of humanity.

This World Premiere production runs January 23rd to 26th, 2019 at the Pavilion Theatre, 1025 Lorne Street, Kamloops. Evening shows begin at 7:30 pm and there will be a Pay-What-You-Can Matinee on Saturday, January 26th at 2:00pm. There will be Q&A sessions with the performers on the stage after the preview performance on Wednesday, January 23rd. An Opening Night Gala will be held directly after the performance in the lobby on January 24th.
