We shine the light on sometimes forgotten member of the string section: the viola. Sought-after Canadian soloist, Marina Thibeault plays the ethereal and folkloric Viola Concerto by Latvian composer Peteris Vasks. Grieg’s Holberg Suite, and the Concerto for Strings by Nino Rota, best known for his soundtrack to The Godfather, round out this adventurous concert experience.
