Three of Canada's greatest blues artists.

TIM WILLIAMS "Imagine, if you can, a front porch where Robert Johnson, Hank Williams, Hula Hattie, Flaco Jimenez and Bob Marley meet often and discover just how much they have in common. Tim's music would fit right in."

Tim Williams is a blues-based singer / songwriter / multi - instrumentalist. He is a 40 year veteran of the 'Roots' music scene in North America, roots which stretch back to the coffee-house scene of his native California in the mid 60's. Settling in Canada in 1970, Tim is a studio musician, producer, and a performer in constant demand. He has played Folk / Blues / Jazz festivals and concert halls and clubs from Halifax, to Vancouver Island, to the Yukon.

Inspired by the Hillbilly and Western Swing music he heard as a child, Tim absorbed late Fifties Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll, Hawaiian and Mexican music, early Sixties Folk, and Bluegrass “like a sponge” before discovering a passion for traditional blues styles which was fueled by seeing many first generation blues musicians live during the “Blues Boom” of the mid and late Sixties.”

KENNY "BLUES BOSS" WAYNE The Legendary Blues and Boogie Woogie piano master Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne was inducted on August 9, 2017 into the Boogie Woogie Piano Hall of Fame at the Arches Piano Stage while performing at the Cincy Blues Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is hailed by LIVING BLUES magazine as “an artist bringing the piano back to the front ranks of contemporary Blues“. This 2006 Juno Award winner and a multi Maple Blues Award winner is at the forefront of modern day blues piano practitioners.

Rediscovering his own blues roots long ago sent his career into overdrive, thanks to his fresh approach to old music, the drive and roaring good-time attitude of his live performances, and his smartly original self-penned songs. Wayne was already a child prodigy when, at eight, he moved with his family to San Francisco, and then to Los Angeles. Encouraged by his preacher father, the Reverend Matthew Spruell, to play gospel music, the youngster was also secretly introduced to the radically more exciting boogie-woogie by an uncle.

BRANDON ISSAK What separates Brandon Isaak from the rest of the pack besides his world-class musicianship and song writing, is his ability to connect and involve the audience in his live shows.

Isaak has many nominations by The Maple Blues Awards (Canada's national blues awards) including winning an award for Acoustic Act of the Year. His affinity for the rawness and spontaneity of the blues is second to none, as anyone who has had the privilege of being a part of his audience will tell you. He brings a firebrand style of guitar as well as incredibly stirring vocals that truly has to be witnessed to be appreciated! He is very much in the moment as he rips it up, and we know you'll be impressed with the caliber of showmanship within his performance of songs & stories by this great Canadian artist.
