Performance Notes

× Music director Cvetozar Vutev and the Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra are back in period costume, welcoming the autumn season with a variety of Baroque offerings. The concert will feature long-time Kamloops educator Don Bennett, Trombone, with a performance of Pergolesi’s Sinfonia and Ivan Vutev playing a Handel Organ Concerto. Carson Sautner will stop by with Vivaldi’s Guitar Concerto in D Major. Principal Trumpet Rob Hogeveen will be joined by Ivan Vutev, this time as a countertenor, for a performance of Arias from Handel’s Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne. Principal Bassoon Cuyler Page will be joined by Principal Flute Cathy Dochstader to present Telemann’s Concerto for Recorder and Bassoon.

All of these performances will be accompanied by Kamloops’ own Brandenburg Orchestra. We look forward to seeing you there!
