Event Notes
Postponement of WCT’s #YKAStrong Community Series In keeping with November 19th's provincial public health directives, Western Canada Theatre is suspending, with regret, the remaining portion of The Pandemic Playhouse: A YKAStrong Community Series.
"We are tremendously disappointed to postpone the remaining events of the #YKAStrong Series in the Pavilion Theatre,” says James MacDonald, Artistic Director. “The series highlighted the outstanding creativity of local Kamloops performing artists from a range of disciplines, and offered an opportunity to gather in safety as a community. “However, we prioritize the health of our audiences, staff, and volunteers above all, and will follow provincial health guidelines. We look forward to welcoming back these performers and companies in the new year, when restrictions ease and our public health situation improves. Stay safe." We will be in touch with ticket holders to the series. If they prefer, they can contact us at the box office at klbo@kamloopslive.ca or phone 250-374-5483 (available 12pm-5pm, Tuesday through Friday)Tonight’s the Night with Zorblax, Destroyer of Worlds What the heck is Tonight’s the Night with Zorblax, Destroyer of Worlds? It’s a late night talk show hosted by a big purple alien. Why the heck is Tonight’s the Night with Zorblax, Destroyer of Worlds? It’s a lot of fun, with games and jokes and music.
