Kamloops Wine Festival - Cheese the Day

The wine festival kicks off with a new, exclusive event, Cheese the Day, on Thursday June 1, 6:30pm at Colombo Lodge—presented by the Canadian Cheese Ambassador, David Beaudoin. Beaudoin will be presenting a lively and interactive session on pairing B.C./Canadian cheeses with amazing wines and food. This “other worldly experience” offers an opportunity to learn about a variety of cheeses while being entertained by a comedic and knowledgeable cheese connoisseur. Guests will be greeted with a glass of sparking wine while experiencing a raclette being heated and served with many delicious accompaniments, followed by an outstanding pairing of cheeses, accoutrements, and wines—creating a combination of flavours that will delight the palette. With additional charcuterie board tips and treats, this exciting event is a must for foodies and cheese lovers.
